Ministerial Standing in Nebraska
In keeping with The Design of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the Christian Church in Nebraska reviews and certifies the standing of all ordained and commissioned clergy living in the region each year. All commissioned and ordained ministers who have been granted standing and are listed in ALEX/Yearbook may call upon the Christian Church for services, support, references, relocation assistance, denominational endorsement, and scholarship aid.
The Annual Standing Form
Each September, the Christian Church in Nebraska distributes the annual Standing Form to all clergy with Standing in Nebraska. Ordained and commissioned ministers will receive their individual Google Form link by email. The deadline is November 30. If you have not received your form by October 1, contact the CCN office at candomgr@ccnebr.org.

What the Form Covers
- Personal and ministry information
- Congregational participation
- Regional and general church involvement
- Training and continuing education (including ARPR and Boundary Training dates)
- Programs of growth and study completed in the past year
- Personal growth reflections
- Prayer requests
- Option to request a meeting with the CCL
Sent individually by email each September. Preferred format. Can be completed on any device. Hard copy can be requested upon completion.
