The General Church — the denominational body that connects Disciples across the United States and Canada — expresses itself through several General Ministries that Nebraska congregations participate in through their giving, service, and engagement.
Week of Compassion
Week of Compassion is the relief, refugee, and development mission fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Through Week of Compassion, Nebraska Disciples connect to disaster relief, refugee support, and global development work around the world.
Disciples Mission Fund
Disciples Mission Fund is the shared funding system that connects congregational giving to the whole life of the church. When Nebraska congregations give through DMF, their gifts support regional ministries, general ministries, and Disciples institutions of higher education — with nearly half returning directly to regions like ours to fund the ministry you see happening across Nebraska.
