Addiction 101 for Clergy – “Let Your Light So Shine”

This free one-day in-person seminar provides information and practical guidance on successful pastoral care of individuals and families troubled with addictions of all kinds. We can “let our light so shine” with both the compassion of Christ and accountability.
The presenter is Rev. Otto Schultz who has worked over 40 years in addiction ministries. He is currently Executive Director of The Center for the Restoration of (Behaviorally) Impaired Clergy. The programs are sponsored by Recovery Ministries of the Episcopal Church.
In a 2021 survey of over 1,000 members of 13 Nebraska congregations, 44% indicated they were concerned about the addictive issues of someone close to them. These issues are widespread and they impact Christians.
The program will be held 3 times from 10-4:30 on April 25 in Lincoln, Scottsbluff on May 16, and Sept 26 in Kearney. For more information contact OttoBSchultz@outlook.com or 402-770-1974.
